About the Brand:

Chardan Slings was established in 2016 manufacturing Jacquard Woven Wraps and Ring Sling baby carriers. The fabrics are designed, woven, cut, sewn and packed in Australia with all of our resources, products and services sourced locally from Australian businesses. We strive to support only ethical working conditions and consider this to be of high priority throughout our entire manufacturing process. All of our wraps and ring slings are sewn and finished in our family home and checked by us to ensure the highest quality and standards.

Our goal is to enable parents and caregivers to carry their children in a carrier that’s not only optimally suited for their child’s development but also safe, supportive, comfortable, easy to use and affordable.

Impression:
Chardan Slings UK tester visited here for a week. We very mainly wearing at home, so my first impression is that it’s a great spring summer wrap!
The colour combination makes the wrap look very sweet. I think many mamas will find it appealing

The Pattern Look:
At first I was not quite sure if I like it when I just looked at the fabric. Then I put it up and suddenly the pattern was in place and made a lot of sense. Entwined Orchid looks great when wrapped and definitely one of the thoughtful patterns designed specifically for the babywrap. I especially liked that one of the trees is positioned in the middle of the wrap so it can be seen in every carrier type.
The roots of the trees are entwined, creating intricate knots and swirls. The tree crowns have a lot of details too.

The Wrapping Qualities:

The wrap feels medium weight and airy in hands, yet quite supportive. It’s mouldable and wraps easily, leaving a small knot.

For my two year old the multilayer carriers worked well, though I think it is most comfortable for slightly younger/less heavy babies.
I think it is a great choice for the new babywearing parents!
